Sandra Palomar

Palomar utilizes actions of cutting, folding, and sculpting forms in their double - the performative aspects of her work - and produces the general three-dimensional character of the works in the cut-outs of blotlike forms and architectural silhouettes. She utilizes non-conventional painting materials and surfaces- such as leatherette, lacquer-drenched foam, double-sided glass framing, and overlapping installations of paintings.

Sandra Palomar majored in Painting at the UPCFA and took up further studies in painting and multi-media arts at the Paris American Academy and the Ecole Nationale Superiere des Beaux-arts in Paris , France .
