UP Artists Circle at Mag:net Katipunan

25 artists belonging to the UP Artists Circle alumni , one of the oldest artists organizations in UP, are holding a group exhibit at Mag:net Gallery Katipunan from July 18 to August 1. Titled “Practice Must Collapse” and curated by Bernardo Pacquing, the exhibit includes new works by Poklong Anading, Bim Bacaltos, Felix Bacolor, Nubin Beldia, Pablo Biglang-awa, Benjie Cabangis, Raffy Castaneda, Ernest Concepcion, Marina Cruz, Mariano Del Rosario, Ranelle Dial, Jeff Dizon, Ferdinand Doctolero, Neil Doloricon, Rock Drilon, Mark Gary, Pete Jimenez, Dindo Martinez, Mark Meily, Bernardo Pacquing, Popo San Pascual, Paul Quiano, Eufemio Rasco IV, Rodel Tapaya and Roma Valles. The UP Artists Circle, in it’s more than 30 years of existence has produced many prominent professionals not only in the visual arts but also in advertising, films and the academe. Invited guests of honor to the opening at 7PM on Tuesday, July 18 are Mon Jimenez, a UP Artists Circle alumnus, Tony Gloria, Freddie Garcia and Butch Jimenez.
